How Members of the Nevada Supreme Court are Selected:

Nonpartisan Election

Justices are selected and re-selected in nonpartisan elections to six-year terms. Interim selections to fill vacancies that occur between elections are made by governor appointment from a list prepared by the state’s Judicial Selection Commission, with members appointed by the governor and state bar association.
